 The 07134240  MIELE   FRIDGE FILTER  Refrigerator Water Filter, also known as the Bosch Ultra Clarity Refrigerator Filter, is an internal water filter that channels clean and better tasting ice and water through your Bosch refrigerator. The Bosch 644845 refrigerator filter replacement is used primarily to reduce the bad taste and odor of chlorine. This Bosch refrigerator filter is also known as the 740560 and the Bosch REPLFLTR10 filter.

For hygiene reasons, the filter requires changing every 6 months 
Appliance will indicate when the filter needs changing 
After installing a new water filter always discard the ice.

Production of the first 24 hours after switching on the ice-maker. 

·If ice has not been used for prolonged time discard all ice cubes in the bin and discard the ice production on the next 24 hours. 
·If appliance or ice was not actively used for several weeks or months or ice cubes have an unpleasant taste or odor change water filter. 
·Air trapped in system may cause water and cartridge to eject. Use caution when removing. 
·Before replacing filter disconnect the water supply to the appliance. 

 Instructions to replace the filter:
 
I. Push the button in the middle of the filter cover (some models may vary)remove the cover.
 
II. Rotate the cartridge by 90° gently in an anti-clockwise and pull gently.
 
III. Take your new one, removed protective cap
 
IV. Insert the new cartridge and rotate the filter 90° gently clockwise direction.

When to change a filter: There is a replacement indicator light for the water filter cartridge on the dispenser. The filter cartridge should be replaced when the filter light comes on, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water.
Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty
