The PureSource2 WF2CB Water Filter reduces the following health related contaminants:
- Chlorine Taste and Odour
- Particulate (Class III)
- Sediments
- Dirt
- Rust
Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 for the reduction of Chlorine Taste and Odour. As with all built-in refrigerator water filters, the PureSource2 WF2CB does not remove Fluoride.
Note: The filter provides cleaner, fresher water & ice.
Important: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by the water filter device are not necessarily in your water
Installation and replacement procedure for the PureSource2 WF2CB fridge water filter:
1. Press the button to the right of the filter to release it
2. Pull the old filter straight out and discard (don't worry, the water will shut off automatically)
3. Push the new filter in VERY FIRMLY until you hear it 'CLICK' into place
4. The filter can be difficult to lock into place, and may take more force than you expect
5. Once it LOCKS in place, the filter releases a water valve that lets water flow through the filter
6. Reset your 'change filter' light (if your fridge has one -Press and hold the reset button on the dispenser until the green light flashes (up to 15 seconds)
NOTE:There is a replacement indicator light for the water filter cartridge on the dispenser. The filter cartridge should be replaced when the filter light comes on, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water.
Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty
