HOW TO CHANGE PURE N FRESH FILTER IN LG REFRIGERATOR?

Pure N Fresh filter provides unique air purification system that minimizes your refrigerator odors. It recirculates air through a dedicated fan that deodorizes the air for a pleasant smell from your fridge at all times. To maintain high level of its performance you should replace it regularly.

You will know when it’s time to change the Pure N Fresh filter because the message indicating the filter replacement is going to be displayed. When you see it, you should replace the filter as soon as possible. Otherwise the bacteria and odor removal will deteriorate.

1. When “Replace” icon on the refrigerator’s control panel lights on, you should replace the Pure N Fresh filter.

2. Hold and gently remove the Pure N Fresh filter cover by rotating it counterclockwise.

3. Remove the filter inside the Pure N Fresh filter cover and replace it with a new filter.

4. After replacing the filter, insert the Pure N Fresh filter cover by rotating it clockwise.

Remember

- Don’t put your fingers or other foreign objects inside. It may cause injuries or appliance malfunctions.
- If you don’t replace the filter as soon as the icon Replace lights on the bacteria and odor removal performance will deteriarate.
- Don’t wash the filter in water, it may cause malfunctions.
- Try not to change the direction of the filter when you insert it into the filter cover.
- When you are turning the refrigerator on after replacing the Pure N Fresh filter, check if the LED lamp next to it is on.
