Installation and replacement procedure for the PureSource WF1CB fridge water filter:

1. Unscrew the filter cup and dump out the water.
2. Pull the old filter straight down and discard.
3. Place the new filter in the filter cup. The end of the filter with the small o-ring should be up.
4. The end of the filter with the small o-ring should be up.
5. Screw the filter cup (with filter) up onto the housing . The filter will self-align as the cup is tightened.
6. Reset your "change filter" light (if your fridge has one).
7. Resetting your "change filter" light: Press and hold the reset button on the dispenser until the green light flashes (up to 15 seconds).Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty

When to change a filter: There is a replacement indicator light for the water filter cartridge on the dispenser. The filter cartridge should be replaced when the filter light comes on, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water.
